On this fully escorted group tour, our guests will have a chance to visit Japan's beautiful northern island Hokkaido, home to Japan's world class thoroughbred breeding industry. Our itinerary will include visits to Shadai Farm, Shadai Stallion Station, Northern Farm and Northern Horse Park where will enjoy lunch. Of course a visit to Sapporo would not be complete without tasting the Island's delicious food and world famous fresh seafood.
Our next stop is Japan's capital - Tokyo. Tokyo is one of the world's most vibrant and exciting cities with a delightful balance of modern and ancient attractions. The tour's major highlight of course will be two days of world class racing at Fuchu Racecourse which features one of the world's richest and most prestigious races the Japan Cup. And we will have the "best seats in the house".
Whilst in Tokyo, our guests can enjoy a day trip to Lake Kawaguchi located at the base of Mount Fuji. Should the weather be kind, we will be treated to magnificent views of Mount Fuji throughout the day.
Our visit in November is the ideal time to enjoy Japan due to the mild weather and tapestry of rich autumn colours. This will provide a glorious backdrop to these many amazing places we will visit on tour.
Fascinating sightseeing by day is complemented with optional group dinners at night providing camaraderie and a wonderful opportunity to try a range of delicious Japanese cuisine amongst new friends.
The quality and location of our accommodation is critically important and that is why we will stay at the centrally located Sapporo Grand Hotel in Hokkaido and the Keio Plaza Hotel in Tokyo.
